- fixed: bug where an item behind a chest would cause both the action of handling the chest (open chest/get item) and also taking the item behind the chest. Now, chest actions take priority.
- fixed: bug where a consumed potion didn't shown the spell effect on selected character but always on caster.
- fixed: bug in title where the title won't animate when it had to shown again i.e. through 'Quit to Menu' option.
- fixed: bug where the 'Wizard's Laboratory' in Plaimere Wilds wouldn't be loaded, after exposing the Wizard in Brentsoll Mine (bad name in data files)
- fixed: bug where the use of some potions (i.e. potion of cure poison), were causing some error logs, although not crashing the game.
- fixed: multiple bugs in save system (thanks @chris1873)
- fixed: bug in sound system which didn't respected sfx/music volume set in options. It started happening when I introduced on-demand sounds i.e. sound data that is loaded/played on demand and released in the end.
- fixed: bug where a 'Cleric' profession was able to get the 'Bow' skill through either prebuilt or new character, even though the profession couldn't handle bows/crossbows
- fixed: bug where 'skill books' weren't showing correctly on 'Libraries' (the skill part wasn't showing below)
- fixed: bug shown on rainy maps (i.e. plaimere wilds), where the thunder sound was still heard when the party entered an event
- fixed: bug where party's map arrow was rendered above an already rendered object type i.e. monster, npc etc. Now the party's map arrow is not rendered if there's another object type already rendered.
- fixed: bug where a door's label would still be shown if the event triggered was next to such a door, even if the party is moved elsewhere
- fixed: bug where Lisandro wasn't progressing on his event when Sargolloz was killed. It was an overlook bug that shown up during the numerous improvements of event system.
- fixed: bug where shadows from objects that cast them i.e. plants, NPCs etc. were causing weird artifacts from a distance on foggy maps
- fixed: bug on shops where the exact same items were restocking after some days. Issue was that the game uses a lot of 'semi-random' seed generators for things like portraits, house cutscenes etc. messing with other 'true random' seed generators like shop items.
- fixed: bug where clicking on an assigned key in 'action mapping' could not get cancelled by clicking 'cancel/close' key ('ESC' by default) and led instead to closing the 'Settings' page
- fixed: bug that was caused by a recent addition where monsters having a 'long reach' action and placed on bank rank wouldn't move out of combat quads (i.e. the 4 front quads of each orientation), except if their movement ends up in front-rank.
- added: small boost of performance in interior maps
- added: a new wall feature 'bannertext', which acts like the typical crawler plaques / signs i.e. an event with a text is shown when one clicks on that banner
- added: a number of animated props like static and movable spells, magic fields, teleporters etc., increasing the puzzle and interaction levels. In addition, these props can also trigger their own events i.e. damaging the party.
- added: a puzzle in 'Cult of Wizards, Hideout' area, using the newly added animated props
- added: a small lever puzzle in 'Tomb of the Dreamer' area and some lore, using the newly added animated props
- added: additional content in various areas (content, puzzles etc.)
- added: refactored the map format to allow handling and event triggers on more layer types i.e. features (paintings, banner text etc.), trees etc.
- added: major graphical overhaul of the UI system to be more consistent with the overall pixelart style.
- added: map legend can now have an additional entry on the left for similar objects i.e. NPCs for hire vs sidequest NPCs, stairs up/down etc. saving some space
- added: improved the description block shown on abilities, resistances etc. when hovered and clicking upon them
- added: some development improvements, which will eventually allow faster game builds / updates, including the coming 'early access' builds
- added: the earth magic spell 'Venom Extract' which can cure the 'Poisoned' condition. Its an apprentice expertise spell, so since there are no trainers for it yet, its better to search for scrolls / wands enchanted with that spell (along with the potions).
- added: updated some enchantment names to make them sound more mysterious and not totally obvious i.e. "of Fire Resistance" became "of Pyre Ward". All resistance and resistance damage based enchantment names were updated.
- added: now monsters that have a 'long reach' action i.e. spells, spears and they're on 'bank rank', they wont be moved again to get closer to party since they can hit the party from their position already.
